FastStone Print Button

The Print Window has many sections with options for controlling how the images will be printed.

The top section is the Image List, which contains thumbnails of all of the images to be printed. Images can be added by clicking Add, or removed by selecting the image and clicking Remove.

In the next section you can choose what printer to use by clicking on the down arrow and clicking on a printer in the drop down menu.

Click on Print Setup to go to the set up window for your particular printer.


Set the margins in inches by entering a number in the box or by using the up and down arrows.

Change the unit of measurement between inches and cm by click on the down arrow and selection the unit of measurement in the drop down menu

Choose the position on the page where the image is to be printed. The default location is in the center.

Choose the page size by clicking on the down arrow and choosing a size from the drop down menu.

Compare the options by looking at the preview section.

When using the "Specific Size" option, enter the dimensions in the boxes or use the up and down arrows. Check the "Preserve Aspect Ratio" check box so that you image does not become distorted.

Adjust Gamma by entering a number in the box or by using the up and down arrows. For more information on Gamma Correction click here.

Choose the orientation of the picture by clicking the radio button next to "Portrait" or "Landscape".

Click Reset to reset all of the options to their default values. Click Cancel to exit the Print Window. When all of the options have been set, click Print to send the image to your printer.
